A bit of a SCARE...

So we thought we had everything figured out with Dan and all was well... We saw two doctors the next day after we found out he had a hole in his heart. One we optimistic that we were on the right track and the other contradicted everything we have been told. SO...we left that doctors very upset and furious and confused on where we were with him. Saturday night about 9:00, Dan called me in to the family room. His whole right side was going numb. He called his parents to see if we should go to the hospital and the answer was "YES". Hannah ran to our back yard neighbor to get our bishop and Dan's mom called his brother David to come get the kids. They gave him a quick blessing and we were on our way. We told the E.R. that we thought he was having a stroke and they got him in SUPER fast. Took blood, hooked him up to all sorts of wires, and whisked him off to a cat scan and chest x-ray. Everything came back normal and they figured he his having mini stokes which are common with the hole in the heart!!!
We have 2 doctor appointments so far this week. One with a urologist and another with a cardiologist. With this Sunday's fast I feel like we will get into the Neurologist at the U of U and start getting to the bottom of all this. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers!! We love you all!!
On another note, MOTHERS DAY is in 24 days!!! YEE HAW!!!!

GREAT NEWS!!!!!

We have GREAT NEWS!!! We found out today that Dan has a hole in his heart!!!

You may be thinking that this isn't great news at all, but we have been waiting for some kind of answer for several weeks now, so were thrilled!!! I don't know if this will solve all of his problems, but I do know it will take some away!!! We have 3 more Dr. appointments this week and maybe by next week we can get him fixed!!! YEAH!!!!!

Happy 24th of July!!!

We had an enjoyable 24th of July. We spent the day at grandma and grandpa's pool.

The weather was perfect, the food was great, and swimming kept us cool.

We are expecting a week full of tests for Dan. We have 2 echo-cardiograms. One where they go through his arm up to his heart and push bubbles through to see if there is a hole in his heart. The other they will go down his esophagus to check the back of his heart. One other we are waiting on is the Neurologist at the U of U, checking for MS (which he has 9 0f the 10 symptoms of). All I am hoping for is an answer so that we can start getting him better. Please keep him in your prayers!!!

Some of my NEW LOVES!!

I am trying to post more often, but my life realy isn't that interesting!! I have a few new LOVES I would like to share though!!!
FIRST- Bradley Cooper "AKA" Will on Alias. I LOVED him then and even more now. Dan and I went to see the "A TEAM" Saturday night I was really concerned about Mr. T and him saying "I pity the fool" thats all I knew about the "A TEAM" Well.....if you haven't seen it, I definately recomend it. I LOVED it!!!! It was actioned pack and pretty darn funny!!!
SECOND- CHERRY COKE... There's nothing like a good cherry coke. I got myself weaned off my beloved Dr. Pepper, drank tons of water and have now found CC. It's so good!!! (I am still drinking tons of water, but that is my new treat!!)
THIRD- Most any of you that know me know that I do not cook on Sunday's if I dont have too. Now I don't cook on Thursdays either, which I LOVE!!! My friend Tammie and I switch off making dinners. I am on Tuesday and she is Thursday. It is so great!!!!
FOURTH-ANTHROPOLOGIE... this should really be first, but I couldn't remember the name!! This is my absolute new favoite store!! The clothes are divine and they have DARLING stuff for your house too!!! It's a little pricey, but hey we all need a little splurge every once in a while RIGHT??

This last week has been full of ups and downs. Ethans baseball team has won EVERY game this season and Thursday was the championship game!!! They started out ok then things got worse... Needless to say we lost (just typing this makes me a little teary!) They had such an awesome season and I can't believe how much Ethan has improved. His very last hit of the game was about 6 feet from the fence!!! He has become such a great player. FYI...his team had the best record in the league 13-1!!!

Next, we have decided to move, but just found out that the lot we were going to build on may take a bit longer than we expected to start building. So now that most of our stuff is packed up we have to make a decision on what we are going to do... I think we will start looking from somewhere to rent in the next few days. Keep your fingers crossed that we find something a little closer to SLC for Dan, great schools for my peace of mind, and lots of fun kids for my kids!!!

BEST MEMORIAL DAY EVER!!!

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST MEMORIAL DAYS I HAVE EVER HAD. WE STARTED OUT TANNING AT MY GOOD FRIEND TAMMIE'S HOUSE. SHE LIVES ACROSS THE STREET WITH THE LITTLE LAKE IN HER BACK YARD. SO WE LAYED OUT AND THE KIDS PLAYED IN THE WATER. LATER WE HAD A BBQ WITH RIBS, HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS, TWICE BAKED POTATOES, CHIPS, BAKED BEANS AND VEGGIES AND DIP. IT WAS ALL DELICIOUS!! WE WERE GOING TO PLAY GAMES AT THE TABLE, BUT THEN THE FUN STARTED!! WE PLAYED JUST DANCE THEN ROCK BAND. I HAVE NOT PLAYED EITHER GAME AND I HAVE TO SAY A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. LATER IN THE NIGHT TAMMIE'S MOM DEBBIE BROUGHT OUT HER BATON AND DANCED. IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE WE HAVE LAUGHED THAT HARD!!! SHE IS HILARIOUS AND WOULD BE GREAT AT ANY FAMILY PARTY!!

Hannah's teacher MRS. TERRY is one amazing Kindergarten teacher. Her classroom is awesome. I have never seen someone with so much talent!!! She truely loves the kids and actually enjoys being a teacher. I can't believe schol will be over in ONE week. Hannah actually made it through K and will be moving on to 1st grade!!!!
