I ACTUALLY DID IT!!!!

I did it, I actually got up this morning, put on my exercise clothes & did it!!! I EXERCISED!!!
We bought the P90X dvd's last year and did the 1st one and almost died. We never attempted it again. I did the whole 40 minutes!!!! I am so proud of myself. I am really debating if I should have put this on my blog because it might jinxs me. I guess I'll let you know tomorrow!!!
ALSO....an interesting tidbit of info>>>>> I tried the K-Y yours & mine stuff and WOW!!!! Let's just say the commercials are right!!!!! Just a little plug for Valentines day!!!

She Did IT!!!!!

Hannah's platelets went up to 130,000!!!!! All with no medicine!!! We don't have to check her blood for 2 weeks!!! YEAH!!!!!

Aunt Laura made Hannah a beautitul wedding cake for her birthday, but unfortunately on the way up the canyon it tipped over twice. Hannah was so sad, because "It was such a special cake"

Snowbird was really fun this year. It was beautful weather, we celebrated Hannah's 5th birthday and we got to ski on the greatest snow on earth!!!! I was a slacker at taking pictures on the ski lifts this year and I could kick myself.....we do have some fun ones in the pool..

On Tuesday Hannah & I went to Primary Childrens Hospital to do her weekly blood work. We got some good news. Her platelet count went up to 65,000 from last weeks 25,000. All on her own with no medicine. It still isn't very high, but the doctors are pleased it was on her own. Although her platelets went up a little she wasn't able to ski. Hannah & Kenny had a great time playing in the condo with their cousins!!

On our last day of swimming, Makena got a little too brave and fell into the hot tub. My heart actually stopped (I am sure of it). Talk about your scarey moments, luckily she was only under for about 3 seconds and we got her out fast. Needess to say, Hannah, Makena & I were done swimming after that. I think I am still shaking!!!

All in all we had a wonderful time and are thankful Grandma & Grandpa Hancock let us go up to Snowbird every year!!!

YIKES!!

We did Hannah's blood work yesterday and before we even got home the doctors office called.
Her platelets went from 107,000 (last week) to 25,000. The instructions are to be very careful not to bump, fall, wrestle, rough house anything!!!! So our plans for skiing next week at Snowbird are out!!!! The doctors want to see if her body can jump start itself and come back up next week so they are keeping her off the steroids for now. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!

GREAT NEWS!!!!

As of Monday, January 5th, 2009 Hannah is off her steroids!!!!! After an amazing blood work session (Who knew bringing a friend to the hospital would envoke BRAVENESS??? Not even a tear!!!)her platelet count went up to 107,000 from last weeks 75,000. It is still a bit low, but I am not asking questions or making any kind of fuss. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this good luck will continue and next weeks test will bring us just as great news!!!
